When I was growing up, I thought sexual dreams were very normal and were actually a good thing. I genuinely felt good after having them as a young single girl. I thought, “If I am being satisfied in my dreams, maybe I don’t need a boyfriend”. To add to that, I thought if I dreamt of having sex with someone I knew, we were meant to be together. I know, I know. Thank God I know better now. 

Sexual dreams are dreams where demonic spirits have sex with the dreamer. It doesn’t matter who the person appears to be, even if it’s your spouse or partner. Two sex demons are responsible for these types of dreams, and their main goal is to destroy or stop marriages. 

The Incubus and Succubus Demonic Spirit

The Incubus is a demon with a male identity that sexually attacks mostly women in their sleep. The word Incubus is from the Latin word incubare, which means to lie upon. The Succubus is a demon with a female identity that attacks mostly men in their dreams by having sex with them.

Oftentimes, men would awaken from these dreams with semen all over them. Their goal is to destroy or stop marriages from happening by becoming a spirit husband or wife to the dreamer. The incubus or succubus will often take on the image of someone that the dreamer knows in their waking life and then have sex with them. Here are some of the things you might see displayed when either of these spirits is at work:

• The dreamer will have a strong sense of arousal or horniness when they’re awake and a strong desire to satisfy it. 

• The dreamer feels a strong intimacy toward the person he/she is believed to have sex with in the dream, especially if it’s someone they know. The dreamer might want to pursue this person in their waking life to relive their sexual experience from the dream. 

• The dreamer’s sexual appetite opens up, which can lead to adultery or fornication, which leads to soul ties for the dreamer. 

• The dreamer, if unaware that these are demonic spirits at work, may welcome these dreams and look forward to them for sexual satisfaction, leading to a spiritual spouse. 

• If the dreamer is single, these two sex demons will ward off any possible suitors so that the dreamer does not get married.  

• These spirits are also responsible for abortions, miscarriages, barrenness, rape, and molestation. 

• Both of these demonic spirits ultimately cause delay, blockages, and hindrances in the dreamer’s life. 

How the Sex Demons Gain Access

There are multiple ways that these sexual demons can gain access to your soul and access your dreams. Here are the main ways that they do:

Childhood trauma 

Traumas usually leave the soul broken. These broken areas of the soul, due to traumatic experiences such as verbal, physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, bullying, and domestic violence, become doorways that demonic spirits enter to cause oppression in the individual’s life. Sexual abuse or the fear of sexual abuse is one way sex demons gain access to dreamers.

Pornography 

At this current time in society, it is almost impossible to avoid being exposed to sexual content. It’s in the movies, on advertisements on our phones, billboards, and wherever we go. To add to that, the trend in clothing has made a bad turn. A lot of women practically walk around naked. 

Lust 

Having an intense desire or craving for sex is another way sexual demons gain access to a person. Nothing is wrong with desiring sex and wanting physical intimacy along with a connection with someone, but lust is when you have a selfish desire for sex to fulfil your fleshly desire.  Its goal is just self-gratification. 

Perversion

The devil loves to twist and oppose anything God creates and anything right. Having unnatural sexual desires that deviate from the natural order of things, such as masturbation (sex with oneself), homosexuality (sex with the same gender), pedophilia (sex with children), and bestiality (sex with animals), etc., is an invitation for the incubus and sucubus spirits to oppress someone. 

Through what we are entertained by 

Exposure to sexual content for entertainment, such as in movies, games, videos, images, etc, can also cause an open door. Remember that the eye gate is one of the primary gates to our souls. The word entertainment in Latin means this: 

• Enter – to go into or penetrate
• Tain – to hold or keep
• Ment – mind

To go into your mind and contain it. 

How to Get Rid of the Sucubus and Incubus Spirits

As Believers in Christ, we are meant to live in the freedom and access that he died and gave us. Ephesians 2:6 says that He (God) raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. And where is Jesus seated? Far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come, Ephesians 1:21. The reality is that there is no power or position higher, so there is none that can keep us bound if we say otherwise. 

If you’ve been having recurring or common sexual dreams, take a small step forward (as if stepping through something) and pray this simple prayer:

Father, by faith, I step through the torn veil into the realm of your presence. Lord, I thank you for your Son, Jesus Christ (Yeshua), and His sacrifice, which made it possible for me to come directly to you. Hebrews 4:16 says that I can come boldly unto the throne of grace, to obtain mercy, and find grace and help in time of need. So today, Lord, I confess my sins before you and ask for forgiveness. Father, I present this matter of soul tie and spiritual spouse before you and lay it at your throne. I ask for and take hold of your mercy and grace over this situation in my life, and I ask for your help to be freed from this bondage. I thank that this is already done and that my life is now free from the oppression of demonic spirits in Jesus name.
